For about as many fans, followers, and supporters as Donald Trump has, the 2016 Republican presidential front-runner has just as many people who aren’t that impressed.
You can perhaps count former NBC newsman Tom Brokaw as one of them, according to a Mediaite report. Brokaw, whose journalism career spans nearly 50 years, was at the National Book Festival in Washington, D.C., on Saturday, touting his new book, "A Lucky Life Interrupted."
During one part of the gathering, Brokaw spoke offhand about the current state of political journalism — specifically the 2016 presidential election:
